The beautiful ornamental plum trees in my yard inspired this card. They are one of my favorite things to watch as spring comes to our part of California, because they get these beautiful pink blossoms. They only stick around for about 2 weeks and then they are gone and replaced with purplish leaves! (Is purplish even a word?)
I used the Colorful Seasons stamp set and Seasonal Layers dies for this simple card that has a watercolor paper background with a watercolor wash in Powder Pink.
The cardstock for the card base is Fresh Fig. These are In Colors that will be retiring at the end of May, so be sure to stock up if you want these in your collection! I thought the Artisan Pearls were a beautiful detail to finish off the card.
